The sun turns on Saturday, December 21st, at 10:20 AM. We're celebrating with a mini-festival at the sauna area, featuring lots of rituals, DJ sessions, karaoke, open barrel saunas, and more.

Sauna lover and enthusiast, always on the hunt for new sauna experiences and a good sweat – preferably combined with a dip in cold, salty, refreshing seawater.
Marit Christine has a sauna master course from Farris Bad and has spent countless hours and magical moments in various saunas, both domestically and abroad. The motto is: ‘Sauna equals health from here to H... and back’ and ‘Sauna for the people’!

Chris Shenkle
Originally from a background in acting and singing, Chris brings a flair for the arts to his work as a sauna master. Since moving to Oslo in 2022, he’s embraced the world of saunas, and in 2024 he represented Norway at the World Championships of Show Aufguss (Aufguss WM), blending performance and wellness on a global stage.

Hedda Marie Bay &
Christopher Straume
Hedda and Christopher work as sauna masters at Farris Bad. Their great passion for saunas has helped both of them achieve a 1st place in the Norwegian Championships, in both the Show Aufguss and the Herbal Cup, and they have also performed well in international sauna competitions.
They have competed both together and separately, and this weekend at SALT, they will perform both together and individually.

Lina is a relatively new sauna master, but she’s passionate about spreading the joy of sauna and guiding guests on transformative journeys—from deep within the body to expansive outer realms.
Based in a small floating sauna at Son Spa, she loves working in harmony with the elements, synchronized with the gentle rhythm of the waves.
With the help of powerful music, the essence of plants, and the medicine of steam, Lina invites you to embark on a sensory journey through time and space.
